SROI Analysis | Assurance

The Assurance Process

Assurance means the analysis has been independently checked by qualified assessors and assured by a panel to have been prepared in line with the principles of SROI and is therefore to a consistent standard.

One of the objectives of the SROI Network is to develop more consistency in the use of SROI. If you have your report assured you will be know that it has been prepared in line with the principles of SROI and is therefore to a consistent standard.

Assurance is a service for which members pay.  These costs are quite separate from membership fees and any training costs that may have been incurred on the road to becoming an Accredited Practitioner. The current price structure for assurance of a report or assurance of a report as part of becoming an Accredited Practitioner is as follows:

£420

Assurance of reports - (no amend stage)

£110

Review of amended reports - (amend stage)

£750

Assurance for Accredited Practitioner status inc. amend stage

All prices are subject to VAT.

Why should I get my report assured?

One of the objectives of the SROI Network is to develop consistency in the use of SROI. We would recommend analyses are assured regardless of their purpose. However, if they are to be shared externally beyond your organisation this becomes particularly important.

What does assurance mean to you if you are the author or subject of an analysis?

If you have your report assured you will know that it has been prepared in line with the principles of SROI and is therefore to a consistent standard.

What does assurance mean to you if you are reading someone else's report?

It means the report has been independently checked by qualified assessors and assured by a panel to have been prepared in line with the principles of SROI and is therefore to a consistent standard.
