Membership is open to researchers, consultants and other persons working in the field of impact measurement, or who have a demonstrable interest in promoting the Social Return on Investment methodology. We ask applicants to membership to provide us with a statement of interest in SROI. Membership is for individuals. Organisations who wish to join will have to nominate an individual within their organisation to hold the membership. Membership of the Network does not accredit members as SROI Accredited practitioners. The SROI Network is currently working on an assurance system, and in future, members who have met this assurance system will be listed on this website once they have been approved by the Accreditation Committee. The Benefits of membership of the Network:Directory listingAll members and the services or products that they offer will be listed on the SROI Network’s website. Access to SROI software when this is released (expected March 2010)AccreditationThe SROI Network will be the only body which can accredit practitioners of SROI, and only members will be able to access the assurance processes managed by the Network. Assurance is a review of SROI reports to ensure they comply with both process and principles, and is a more rigorous process than verification. Accreditation of members will be via the Network’s accreditation committee, following completion of training as described below. There will be no cost to members attached to this assurance process, but it is expected that those practitioners who have gone through this process will offer their services in future to the assurance sub-committee. Accredited practitioners will also be able to deliver training or other activity on behalf of the SROI Network. Once the accreditation process is complete, the members Directory entry will be updated to include the descriptor ‘SROI Network Accredited Practitioner’. For the full Accreditation Application process please click here TrainingMembers will receive a discount for SROI Network training. Other benefitsMembers will receive details of conferences etc. and be able to access discounts on future events and training. The SROI Network is a membership organisation, and as such, members have voting rights at the AGM, and an opportunity to shape the future direction of SROI. |
